August marks Daisy & Grace’s 10th Birthday.
So what better way to celebrate than with a Postcard to mark how it all started, with a Hexagon.
Although most of you know me for QAYG my first love was EPP (English Paper Piecing) and especially Hexagons.
Now I can imagine a lot of you are thinking I have better things to do with my time than making EPP, but a Postcard doesn’t require that many hexagons, so why not give it a go.
A Postcard of all neutral hexagons makes a wonderful background for other techniques such as embroidery and applique (I’ve included some examples) but just a random use of scrap fabrics makes a colourful bright Postcard to send some cheer.
Happy Sewing
