I know the saying is shut the back door!
But you do need to shut the front door as well...
So why doors?
Well you can close a door on the past and open a door to the future and as this is the start of a new Project Postcard year what better way to kick things off.
As a child I used to collect postcards and although I no longer have that collection I still like to buy the odd postcard. As you can see from the selection below I do like a door.
I have created this door for you to have a play with, which is great to use up scraps, you can applique, paint or embroider so there's plenty of opportunity for sewing fun.
Why don't you try and create your own front door.
