It's all about you.
Yes that's right, it is all about you, because without you I wouldn't exist, and I do think about you all more than you realise, because when I'm choosing fabrics and trims I wonder what you would like.
Maria, and Shaza you should have seen the fabric I chose yesterday (it's not in until February) I thought of you while choosing it because I knew you would love it.
But there are so many of you that all inspire me to carry on, and when I get the occasional phone call or email from you it makes my day.
So here is some of the work sent to me in photo's.
Elizabeth sent me these photo's, as you can see she is a big fan of Daisy and Grace I don't think she has much left to make before she has the entire collection.
These bags have been created by some lovely ladies, Winnie is at the top of the photo proudly showing off her QAYG bag at the Festival. Bottom row there are 2 photo's of the same bag (back and front) by Debbie who kindly sent these to me on my Facebook page, I think you will agree that it really shows off those lovely Japanese prints. The middle bag was posted on Facebook by Anna, she made this for her mum, I first met Anna at Ally Pally where she volunteers as a class helper on their courses.
This is my Big Bag made by Michelle, who sent me this photo and a lovely message saying how she saw me on Hochanda and I inspired her to get sewing again after a few years away from her sewing machine. I do hope you've carried on sewing Michelle?
Here are some of my lovely customers who kindly had their picture taken with me at Festival. Top left is Jill another customer who makes loads of my things, and below is a picture of some of the projects she has made.
The picture seemed to go wrong and you can't see everything, although I can make out a sewing tidy and rotary purse at the bottom.
This is Sandra and Tracey these are the lovely ladies that sent me the beautiful hexagon necklace last week and regular customers. Sandra came along to Hever castle as well and was one of the lucky ones that managed to get hold of the new Moda fabric before it sold out.
Last but not least are the I'm not worthy girls, (above) Amanze and Annie, who I met at a "snowy" Olympia in March (can you believe we had all that snow followed by a glorious summer!!). I wonder if my "20 shades of grey" daisy ring has made it's way into a project yet girls?? I remember!
THANK YOU EVERYONE, for all your words of encouragement and support, I would love to do another "Rogues Gallery" later in the year as hopefully it will inspire you as much as it does me.
Keep those photo's coming in and hopefully your projects will make it next time.
Happy Sewing
Love
